Family Office Conferences 2027: Wealth Events Guide
Family office conferences 2027 and wealth events from October 2026 to June 2027: verified dates, cities and organisers, who can attend, and which ones are worth it.
By Pedro Souto
Family office conferences 2027 fall into two kinds: rooms built for families, where advisors and job-seekers are not admitted, and paid conferences where professionals are the audience. Most event lists do not tell you which is which. This guide is for people entering the industry, family office staff, and families deciding whether two days away are worth it. It covers October 2026 to June 2027 and gives, for each event, the date, city, organiser, who can attend and the published price. We included organisers with repeat editions, an audience of families, family offices or their advisors, relevance to Europe, Iberia and the Gulf, and dates on the organiser’s own page.
PWA has no commercial relationship with any organiser listed in this guide.
Family office conferences 2027: the calendar at a glance
Verified as of 6 October 2026. Seventeen dated events in Europe, Iberia and the Gulf, in date order. Each event name links to the organiser’s own page, where we checked the date, city, venue and attendance rules. “On application” and “Not published” both mean the organiser shows no price. Eligibility is paraphrased from the organiser’s wording, not inferred. Americas and Asia have their own table further down; events without 2027 dates are in a separate block at the end.

Just after the window, Prestel & Partner’s Family Office Forum London runs on 1–2 July 2027 at the Corinthia London.
Can you attend a family office conference if you are not a family?
Often not. The London Business School Family Office Conference excludes commercial service providers, multi-family offices and advisors, and Campden Wealth admits only qualifying families and private investors. You can attend the paid-pass conferences, such as IPEM Wealth, FundForum and SuperReturn, or Prestel & Partner forums as a paying delegate, where advisors and bankers are expected.
The calendar above sorts into four access types. Knowing which one an event belongs to saves money and an awkward conversation at the registration desk.
1. Family-only rooms. These are built for the people who own the wealth and the executives who run their single-family office, the private company one family sets up to run its own affairs. The clearest case is London Business School: family members, single-family office principals and senior single-family office leadership (CEO, CFO, COO) only, with “commercial service providers, multi-family offices or advisors” excluded in writing. Applicants fill in an expression of interest, LBS checks eligibility, and only then are approved applicants invited to buy a ticket. Campden Wealth’s forums work the same way in practice: attendance is restricted to qualifying family principals, next-generation members, family offices, family businesses and private investors, and non-members go through a qualification step before they can book.
2. Peer forums with vetting and a cap. Connect Group’s World Family Office Forum series describes itself as a private forum for business families and family offices “along with their trusted advisors”, and every attendance request goes to board approval. Cambridge Forums caps each room: up to 32 family principals in Cascais, up to 40 family office executives in Miami, up to 36 in its European Family Office Forum. A handful of advisors sit in some of these rooms, by invitation. If you are an advisor, the way in is being the advisor a family brings, not applying.
3. Paid professional conferences. IPEM Wealth, IPEM Future, FundForum, SuperReturn’s Private Wealth Summit, Wealth Management EDGE, MIND in Madrid and Planner Exhibitions’ real estate forum are built around the professionals: fund managers, private bankers, wealth managers, fund selectors, lawyers, technology vendors. Family offices attend as allocators, and some organisers, FundForum among them, offer complimentary passes to qualifying asset owners; everyone else pays. MIND goes further the other way: access is only for active financial-sector professionals, and registrations are validated by the organiser.
4. Pay-to-attend as a provider. Prestel & Partner runs a two-sided model and publishes it. Wealth owners who meet the asset threshold and have nothing to sell attend free: €120M in Zurich, Dubai and Singapore, US$150M in London and Riyadh. Anyone with a product, service or advisory offering buys a delegate pass or sponsors. Wealth owners who also sell something (“two hats”) are assessed case by case. The organiser’s stated rule is that there are always more family office decision makers in the room than people with a proposition.
There is a fifth, rarer type: the advisor-only room. Cambridge Forums’ Athens forum (16–18 June 2027) is for advisors to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families; families are not the audience.
Note the gap the categories leave. A multi-family office, a firm that serves several unrelated families, is a service provider in most of these rules, even when it describes itself as a family office. Read the eligibility line before you apply.

Most organisers publish no price at all. Campden Wealth, Connect Group, Cambridge Forums, MIND, Planner Exhibitions and DC Finance quote on application or after registration. In London, Prestel adds 20% VAT to its £2,990 one-day and £4,490 two-day passes. Add travel and two nights in a five-star venue, and a provider’s pass to a Gulf forum is a four-figure decision before anyone has said hello.
Wealth management conferences 2027 in Europe and Iberia
Europe’s calendar clusters in four places: London in winter, the Riviera and Berlin in February and June, Switzerland in November and June, and Madrid around single-day professional events. Portugal has little that is dedicated to family offices.
Family office events London
London carries the two most clearly defined family rooms in the calendar.
Campden Wealth’s 28th European Family Office Forum runs on 1–2 December 2026 at The Royal Horseguards Hotel, Whitehall Court. The published learning themes start from the human side: why wealth failures tend to come from emotional rather than financial causes, the psychology of asset allocation and family discipline, and how generations differ on what the wealth is for. Attendance is restricted to qualifying families, family offices and private investors.
The London Business School Family Office Conference follows on 23–24 February 2027 at the school’s North Building, Sussex Place. It is organised by the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital, costs £995 (10% off for LBS students and alumni), and is the one event in this guide that publishes both a price and a written exclusion of advisors. The format is one and a half days: academics and practitioners presenting, facilitated roundtables, then moderated sessions and self-selected breakout groups. Published topics include CEO succession in family enterprises, the psychology of inheritance, cybersecurity and digital risk, philanthropy and governance.
Euromoney’s global Private Banking Awards ceremony is due at The Peninsula London in March 2027, but the organiser has not published the day (see “Dates not yet announced” below). If the awards matter to you because you are choosing a bank, our review of private banks for succession and legacy wealth explains what the rankings measure and what they leave out.
Switzerland: Zurich and Montreux
Prestel & Partner’s Family Office Forum Zurich is in its 13th year and runs on 10–11 November 2026 at The Dolder Grand. The organiser expects 100+ single-family offices and UHNW individuals and lists governance and investment strategy, succession and wealth planning, alternatives, private markets, generational wealth transfer, and technology in the family office among the session themes. It also states that attendee information is never shared with other participants or commercial partners, and that paying does not guarantee admission: every application is reviewed.
Connect Group’s World Family Office Forum | Europe is in its seventh edition and runs on 7–8 June 2027 at the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace. It is a private forum for Europe’s business families and family offices; every attendance request is subject to board approval. No price and no agenda were published when we checked.
Private wealth summit season: Cannes, Berlin and Monaco
Three large professional conferences frame the private markets conversation for private wealth. All three are open to paying professionals.
IPEM Wealth runs on 2–4 February 2027 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, with a pre-opening on 2 February. Its stated focus is the shift of private capital towards individuals through wealth managers, family offices and private banks. The organiser expects 3,500 participants, including 250 family offices and wealth managers and 300 exhibitors. Fund managers, allocators, legal and technology providers, advisors and M&A boutiques all have pass categories; the early-bird offer saves €600 if booked by 30 October 2026.
SuperReturn International runs at the InterContinental Berlin on 7–11 June 2027, and its Private Wealth Summit is on Tuesday 8 June. The audience is client advisors, fund selectors, CIOs and heads of alternatives at private banks and wealth managers, along with single-family offices, high-net-worth investors and general partners. Sessions cover access to private markets for wealth, ELTIFs, secondaries in evergreen structures and transparency in private credit.
FundForum closes the window on 22–24 June 2027 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. It is an asset and wealth management industry event: the organiser counts 1,500+ senior decision makers, 500+ fund selectors and asset owners, and 300+ speakers. Qualifying fund selectors and asset owners can apply for complimentary passes; the agenda covers evergreen and semi-liquid private market products and a new Private Markets Investment Summit.
Athens: a forum for advisors
Cambridge Forums’ Forum on Global Mobility of UHNW Families runs on 16–18 June 2027 at the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens. It is the only room in this guide built for the advisors themselves: up to 44 multi-disciplinary advisors to UHNW families, discussing relocation, tax and succession planning for families that move across borders. Places are by invitation, and it rewards seniority, not ambition.
Madrid: family office and private banking events
Madrid’s events are shorter and more commercial than the Swiss and London forums, which makes them more useful for professionals and less useful for families.
MIND, the Madrid Investor Networking Day, is a single day on 4 November 2026 at the Palacio de Cibeles, organised by Epika Comunicación. Access is limited to active financial-sector professionals: asset managers, fund selectors, private bankers, financial advisors, fintech firms, law firms, consultancies and insurers. Registrations, including those with promotional codes, are validated by the organiser and capped by venue capacity.
Planner Exhibitions’ Family Office & Private Wealth Real Estate Forum returns on 8 April 2027 to El Beatriz Madrid. It brings family offices, private wealth holders, financial and investment advisors and sophisticated investors together with the real estate industry. The organiser reports 330 attendees and 240 companies at the April 2026 edition. Registration is through a professional registration portal; no price is published.
The Instituto de la Empresa Familiar’s national congress ran in Madrid on 4–6 October 2026; its 2027 date is not yet published.
Lisbon and Cascais: family office events in Portugal
Portugal has few events dedicated to family offices, and we would rather say so than pad the list.
Cambridge Forums uses Cascais for two of its small European rooms. The International Forum on Multi-Generational Family Leadership runs on 14–16 October 2026 at the Grande Real Villa Itália, for up to 32 family principals and a select group of trusted advisors. The European Family Office Forum met in Cascais on 7–9 September 2026; its next date is not yet published.
Web Summit runs in Lisbon on 9–12 November 2026. It is a technology conference, not a wealth event. Investor and family office side events cluster around it, but they are organised by third parties, and we list none of them because we could not verify them on an organiser’s own page.
Family office summit Dubai and the Gulf
Six of the seventeen dated events in our main calendar are in the Gulf, all between October and March. The density follows the money: we cover the economic backdrop in investing in the GCC in 2026.
Abu Dhabi, 19–22 October 2026. Campden Wealth’s Global Owners and Family Office Congress at the Saadiyat Rotana Resort is invitation-only, for qualifying families, family offices, family businesses and private investors. The published programme includes workshops on conflict management, women of wealth and co-investment, family briefings on governance and values, and roundtables chosen by participants.
Dubai, 3 November 2026. IPEM Future is a single day at the DIFC Atrium during Dubai Future Finance Week. The visitor pass is €700, the lowest published price in this guide, and the audience mixes GPs, asset managers, private wealth investors and family offices, sovereign and long-term investors, and service providers. Themes include AI, frontier technology, energy, digital assets and healthcare.
Riyadh, 2–3 December 2026. Prestel & Partner’s Family Office Forum Riyadh at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC is organised around three subjects: organising wealth, investing it nationally and internationally, and keeping family harmony through governance. Principals and family office executives with at least US$150M attend free; the two-day delegate pass for everyone else is £4,490.
Dubai, 27–28 January 2027. Connect Group’s World Family Office Forum | Middle East at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach describes itself as a private forum for the GCC’s business families and family offices. Requests are assessed; no price is published.
Dubai, 16–18 March 2027. Two events share The Palace Downtown in the same week. Prestel & Partner’s Family Office Forum Dubai runs on 16–17 March: wealth owners from €120M with nothing to sell attend free, providers pay £4,490 for two days or £2,990 for one. On 18 March, DC Finance’s UAE Global Family Wealth and Investment Forum addresses high-net-worth family members, family business owners and entrepreneurs from the GCC, Europe, the Americas and Asia. For anyone travelling to Dubai for one, the other is a day away.

How to get into family office work through events
Be clear about what an event can do for a career. It will not get you a job on the day. Single-family office roles are often filled with people the family already trusts, or people its lawyer, private banker or current chief of staff vouches for. The families themselves are mostly in rooms you cannot enter. The people who make the introductions are in rooms you can.
Who you will actually meet. At IPEM Wealth, SuperReturn, FundForum, MIND or a Prestel forum as a paying delegate, the room is full of private bankers, fund managers, lawyers, multi-family office staff and technology vendors, plus some single-family office executives attending as allocators. Those professionals see the inside of family offices every week. They hear when a family is setting one up, when a CFO is leaving, when an office is moving reporting or administration in-house. That is the information you need, and they are the referrers.
What the family office actually hires for. Before you go, learn what the work is. In the family office set-ups we design, most of the work is operations: entity administration, bank and custodian relationships, consolidated reporting, payments, tax deadlines, insurance, the records nobody else keeps. We describe that layer in our administrative back-office service, and our explainer on what wealth advisory is sets out how it differs from investment management. Candidates who can say which of those problems they solve are easier to refer than candidates who “want to work with families”.
Which events are realistic. If you are already in financial services, MIND and the Planner Exhibitions forum are the low-cost Iberian entry points; IPEM Future’s €700 pass is the cheapest published ticket in the Gulf. IPEM Wealth, SuperReturn and FundForum cost more and carry more allocators. Wealth Management EDGE, in Florida, offers complimentary passes to advisors from advisory firms. Do not apply to London Business School, Campden Wealth or Connect Group forums as a job-seeker: their eligibility rules are explicit, and an application that ignores them is remembered.
What to prepare.
- One page on what you do, written for a referrer: the problem you solve, for whom, and one example without client names.
- A short list of the people you want to meet, by role, taken from the published speaker and sponsor lists.
- Three questions about their work, not about vacancies. “Which part of a new family office do families underestimate?” opens more doors than “Are you hiring?”
- A rule for privacy. Prestel & Partner, for one, states that attendee information is never shared. Do not photograph badges, scrape attendee lists or post who you met.
How to follow up. Write within a week, one paragraph, referring to the specific conversation. Offer something useful (an article, a contact, an answer to the question they raised) before you ask for anything. Then ask for one introduction, by name, to someone who runs a single-family office. Most of the value of a conference is in the four weeks after it.
What not to expect. No organiser in this guide promises jobs, and none should. A good event gives you five conversations with people who know where the work is. Whether one of them becomes a role depends on what you do next.
What the 2026–27 agendas say about trends
We only list themes that appear on at least two organisers’ published agendas or event pages. Each is linked to where we saw it.
Private markets for private wealth. The strongest signal in the calendar. IPEM Wealth frames its whole event around the shift of private capital towards individuals through wealth managers, family offices and private banks. SuperReturn’s Private Wealth Summit covers access to private markets for wealth, ELTIFs and secondaries in evergreen structures. FundForum lists evergreen and semi-liquid solutions, and Wealth Management EDGE runs a private markets track. For families, the question these sessions rarely answer is how a semi-liquid fund fits a family’s own liquidity calendar.
Succession and the next generation. London Business School lists CEO succession in family enterprises and the psychology of inheritance. Campden’s North American Family Office Forum covers succession planning and next-generation impact. Prestel’s Zurich forum lists family succession and generational wealth transfer, and Cambridge Forums’ Cascais forum is built around multi-generational family leadership. This is the subject of our family governance and education work.
Family governance and the human side of wealth. Campden’s European Family Office Forum opens with why wealth failures tend to be emotional rather than financial. Prestel’s Riyadh forum names family harmony through governance as one of its three subjects, and LBS lists governance among its sessions. Campden’s Abu Dhabi Congress runs workshops on conflict management.
AI and technology in the family office. Wealth Management EDGE has a track on AI implementation and deployment. IPEM Future lists AI and frontier technology among its investment themes. Prestel’s Zurich forum covers technology and innovation in family offices.
Operations, staffing and the in-house question. Campden’s Palm Beach forum covers recruiting and retaining staff and which functions to keep in-house or outsource. LBS lists cybersecurity and digital risk. These operating questions appear less often than investment themes, which is why they tend to be the ones families still have on the flight home.

Before you book two days
The questions families bring to these rooms (consolidation, succession, which structure, which bank) are the ones a written second opinion answers in five working days, without the conference. Panels describe how other families did it. A review of your own set-up tells you what is fine, what is fragile and what to change first. PWA does not manage money, hold mandates, take commissions or give regulated investment, tax or legal advice.
Get the answer to your own question, not the panel’s.
A Written Second Opinion reviews how your wealth is organised today: what is fine, what is fragile and what to change first. €1,500, written, five working days, no meeting required.

What are the main family office conferences in 2027?
Between January and June 2027 the dated family office conferences in Europe and the Gulf include the World Family Office Forum in Dubai (27–28 January) and Montreux (7–8 June), IPEM Wealth in Cannes (2–4 February), the London Business School Family Office Conference (23–24 February) and Prestel & Partner’s Dubai forum (16–17 March). All dates were checked on organisers’ own pages.
Can I attend a family office conference if I am not from a family office?
Often not. The London Business School conference excludes commercial service providers, multi-family offices and advisors. Campden Wealth restricts its forums to qualifying families and private investors, and Connect Group assesses every request. Prestel & Partner admits providers on a paid pass of up to £4,490. IPEM, FundForum and SuperReturn are paid conferences where advisors and bankers buy passes.
How much does a family office conference cost?
Published prices range from €700 for an IPEM Future visitor pass in Dubai to £4,490 for a two-day Prestel & Partner delegate pass. The London Business School conference costs £995 for eligible families. Prestel admits wealth owners above its asset threshold free. Campden Wealth, Connect Group and most Madrid events do not publish prices.
How do I get a job in a family office, and do events help?
Mostly through referral. Single-family office roles are often filled with people the family’s lawyers, private bankers and existing staff vouch for. Events help when they put you in front of those referrers, which means paid professional conferences rather than closed family forums. Bring a specific skill, follow up in writing within a week, and expect no job from one event.
Which wealth management events are in Europe, Dubai, Madrid or Lisbon?
In Europe: Campden’s European Family Office Forum in London (1–2 December 2026), IPEM Wealth in Cannes and FundForum in Monaco. In Dubai: the World Family Office Forum (January) and Prestel & Partner (March). In Madrid: MIND (4 November 2026) and Planner Exhibitions’ real estate forum (8 April 2027). Lisbon hosts Web Summit, a technology event, in November.
Which events are worth it for a family with €2–20M?
Few are designed for it. Prestel & Partner’s free places start at €120M or US$150M in assets, and Campden Wealth vets qualifying families. The London Business School conference publishes no asset threshold for family members and costs £995. For most families in that band, a written review of their own set-up is worth more than two days of panels.
